TUMO and Military Service: a New Initiative

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia joined their efforts to make the military deferment an opportunity to learn. As we know, the service lasts for two years, and it is crucial for these young men to keep learning in order to stay motivated for education.
This partnership will give draftees and opportunity to keep learning and growing by taking courses twice a week for eight months at the nearest Tumo Center of their base. The soldiers stationed at Army bases will gain skills in fields such as computer programming, robotics, digital graphics and digital music composition. The program will launch on February 20th at TUMO centers which are in close proximity to bases.
