The 225th Armath Engineering laboratory opened in Akhalkalaki, Georgia
The first Armath Engineering laboratory on the territory of Georgia and the 225th in total opened in Akhalkalaki.
“When we were starting the project of Armath laboratories one of our dreams was being able to open these laboratories not only in Armenia but in other Armenian-populated regions outside the country’s borders. This is our first attempt leading to that and it’s a very happy day for us,” UITE Executive Director Karen Vardanyan mentioned in his speech. “Another thing we’ve come here to tell you is that life has changed and the whole world is in search of tech talents. With the help of these laboratories you can become good specialists and help your families in four years’ time”, he added addressing the students.
In his welcome speech, the Minister of Science and Education, Arayik Harutyunyan noted, “Education is an important part of the program of the government and we want it to become one of the significant brands of our country. And on our way to that, it’s very important to note that the network of Armath Engineering Laboratories is already expanding outside the borders of Armenia thus becoming one of our scientific and educational brands. And I want to thank the initiators and sponsors of this great project”.
As the Minister further added, it is planned to increase the number of the laboratories to 250 by the end of this year.
